We are confronted with the continuous attacks in various
corners of our country. Our nation was unable to appease the grievances of
Peshawar army public school and Shikarpur attack; there is another blast in Peshawar.
While I was sleeping, one of my friends
called me from Peshawar saying that 19 are killed and more than 50 are
injured while they were worshiping in a mosque. Further he talked they blast happened
in imambargah. I quickly considered this incident is inextricably linked to the
Shikarpur blast.
Many people were waiting for the Valentine’s Day to
celebrate it with vim and vigor but the day was converted into mourning day
with lot of tears the cold-hearted snatched from the citizen right to live. Furthermore,
this event of 13-02-2015 represents a critical threshold in Pakistan’s foreign
policy because foreign policy of any country is strongly linked to its national
and internal security and our foreign policy is providing nothing to poor
citizen and is continuously failing in maintaining the security in the country.
I was thinking these issues are the issues of terrorism and
the attackers were doing all these for money but my perception was apocryphal
and there was yet another aspect of these attacks.
Now our country should gingerly deal the issue because now
its point on our national security and weak foreign policy. I perceive these
incidents are happening due to wrong policies of our own heartless butchers,
and I am absolutely right. Actually, there are many misconceptions about our national
security: why there are killings on the name of Sunni-Shia, why our gov’t can’t
take some grim decisions against it except Zarb-e-azab, why institutions of
army are under threat on and on. Still these questions are enigma for me.
Peshawar is not only a city; it is provincial capital of
Khyber pakhtoonkhwa and Peshawar affects the foreign policy of whole country. Single
attack on this city means attack on the whole province, insecurity in this city
means insecurity in the province and killing Shia in Peshawar means killing Shia
in the whole province. Hence whole country is being disturbed. Our intelligence
agencies are functioning very well and hope that army and intelligence agencies
collude with current gov’t and play indispensable role to eradicate these issues
and successfully burry the whole mindset which nudge toward terrorism and
insurgency on this auspicious land. So my application to the stake holder of
this country is: there is room for change every second and we can be developed
when our provinces are developed and vice-versa, we have capabilities to go forward
and we can be a good and sincere nation. That’s basically the guts of my writing
and arguments.
