Recently i heard an annoying and weird news about fays/ghosts in Gilgit-baltistan.
though my blog is not ghostly but something that hits my mind will appear on my blog.
people of gilgit-baltistan-GB are so naive, when any religious scholar say that he can count exact number of ghost roaming in their region they believe in him and make him their leader and waste their money in him for many reasons(fortune telling, treatments etc). two days before, there was a rumor that 25000 ghosts came to GB for the purpose of tour. it seems really awkward to me that any imaginary thing can be calculated so accurately as though as it were any calculation in maths.
According to religious priests, these ghost are buddhists and came from Vietnam to visit picnic spots in GB which include; Rakaposhi peak point in Nagar GB, K-2 point in GB etc.
Gilgit city is a central headquarter of GB and capital of the province, there is the only government university(Karakuram international university), from all over Gilgit-baltistan people come to gilgit city for the purpose of trade, study, jobs, business etc as the city is providing every relevant field to the people they wish. despite all the attributes of the city and education level of people, indigenous population is richly motivated by the false statements of these so-called religious priests.
