why people allow their children to become labor..

Children are the future of any country. In Pakistan, due to any reason and miserable family conditions, these little children can’t go to schools and instead they start to earn money for family by selling toys, second hand garments, bunches of flowers, and even they gather things of little use from dustbins and sell them and make money. This is really a harsh reality of our country which becomes inevitable. These children, when they grow up act like wild beasts and even murder and brutal acts become part of their lives. Recent event happened in Gilgit city was a solid example of lack of child education. And there are approximately 3 million children labors in Pakistan which is very annoying for whole country and the human rights activist’s organizations.  These children are easily exploited by insurgents or extremists groups for inhuman purposes- suicide of bomb blasts. These children are taught in the Taliban’s schools (madrassa) free of cost and their families are given stipend as well and teachings of the Muslims holiest book-Quran are distorted by the so-called teachers and misinterpreted.                                   

Child labor was not present in Gilgit-baltistan, now it exists. Political parties are very fast at politics but not a single party is working for the above mentioned cause, and not a single party struggling for the eradication of child labor and child exploitation. There are legislation regarding child labor which include; children act 1991, factors act 1934, the bound labor system abolition act 1992 etc. despite the acts these acts were not implemented on time.
