Quaid e azam university is considered as one of the top ranking universities in pakistan. recent assault on the dean of social sciences Dr.aliya h khan by Vice chancellor Dr.javed ashraf is a very shocking news for the students of the university.
Dr aliya h khan claimed that VC called her to his office and asked her to resign if not, she will be removed through president.
why VC want to remove her is still an enigma for the listeners but according to Dr.aliya she had dissented with him concerning the issue of postings of faculty members in the department of social sciences. these faculty members include appointment of associate professor Dr.ishtiaq of school of political sciences and IR as a professor, and Dr.aliya claimed that he has cut the tenure of Dr.ajmal waheed of school of management sciences who is the only professor in the department.
furthermore, Dr.aliya said that the decisions are being made on the basis of personal interest rather than the betterment of the university.
these type of personalized grudges affect the administration, staff, students and other workers at large, so, the top brass of university should avoid such type of cheap grudges and concentrate on providing premium quality education to their students.
