Abdul Salam Killed himself.

The significantly increasing trend of suicide in the Gilgit is very frightful. Recently, a young and energetic student of Karakuran International University hailing from Yasin-hundur commits suicide in his room in Gilgit city.

Abdul Salam was a student who commits suicide due to unknown reason; he takes pistol and shot himself. Salam 22 was found on his bed bedraggled in blood. The main reasons of suicides in the area are lack of awareness, pressure of relatives/family, over burden of studies and exams which are eventually summed up as little issues and can be handled very cautiously. the boy in the picture is salam who commit suicide.

international and national human rights organisations are striving to decrease such acts by arranging seminars among the students and youth of the area, but, this is not adequate and we need some support from the government as well.
