How political parties perish...?

If we go back to 1980, there was a general concept of Ideological members of the parties. who were strongly adherents of the idea and functioning of the party. they show their probity and morally, swore fealty to the constitution of the parties. this relationship between the ideological members and the party was success of the party and people following the party. with the passage of time, the bond between the parties and members/followers became weaker. Now majority of the political parties are divided over the issue of who is hereditary legatee to the party and who is secondary worker of the party, which kindled a war within the parties and many people left the party and accompany other party, and the remaining party is either being ruled by the real legatee or run by the hijacker.
To be precise, the relationship between the ideological members and the party is made blur by the personal interests of the people and ruling elites which suffocates the parties.
These tactics to get control over political parties became more surprising, and now, steering of the political parties go to the wealthy and rich people who use parties as an advertising company and step-up their businesses at the cost of exploiting true-blue, loyal and ideological members of the party, which is very alarming and create disorganization in the parties.
This chaos can be halted by distributing powers/responsibilities on the basis of merit, competence and loyalty.
