I have made a survey,which include nearly 150 families in my village ( yasin,Gilgit-baltistan ) in pakistan about how many girls enter to schools, complete their primary education, through into middle and secondary and higher secondary and eventually how many of them become successful in getting their Masters degree.
there are figures which showed that 85% girls are entered to schools, 60% reach middle classes(class 8), 40% reach class 10, and a little amount of 20% pass their intermediate, just less than 8% enter in the collages for their graduation and there is not a single girls who did her quality masters/phd degree. it was an embarrassing moment for me really.
